Industrial SWPPP for Dallas Railroad Construction

General Contractor: W.T. Byler
Location: Dallas, Texas

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Delivered turnkey Industrial SWPPP compliance and erosion control for a 130-acre logistics center adjacent to active rail operations.
  • Improved stormwater performance through BMP installation, maintenance, and 28 rock check dams.
  • Kept construction moving with responsive compliance support and adaptive field solutions.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The BNSF Dallas Logistics Center is a 130-acre industrial construction project in Dallas, Texas, located adjacent to an active railroad corridor. The site required experienced environmental compliance support, erosion control services, and Industrial SWPPP management to navigate railroad-adjacent construction, controlled site access, and changing field conditions.

Greenrise was selected to provide turnkey Industrial SWPPP and erosion control services for the logistics center, helping support active site compliance while keeping construction moving. With ERAIL badging requirements and nearby rail operations, the project demanded a responsive environmental partner with experience managing complex industrial and railroad-related construction environments.

OUR WORK

Greenrise provides comprehensive stormwater compliance and erosion control support throughout the project, including:

  • Industrial SWPPP implementation and compliance support
  • Permitting coordination and environmental documentationRoutine SWPPP inspections and reporting
  • Erosion and sediment control BMP installation and maintenance
  • Corrective action support
  • Ongoing site stabilization and environmental compliance services

As part of active site stabilization efforts, Greenrise recently installed 28 rock check dams to improve sediment control and support stormwater performance across construction areas. When hydromulch services originally planned for self-performance were no longer feasible, Greenrise quickly developed a revised scope to help maintain project momentum.

PROJECT IMPACT

The BNSF Dallas Logistics Center highlights Greenrise’s ability to support large-scale industrial construction projects where stormwater compliance, erosion control, railroad access requirements, and field coordination all intersect.

Through responsive field services, practical BMP strategies, and documented Industrial SWPPP compliance, Greenrise helps contractors reduce environmental risk, maintain regulatory alignment, and keep complex projects moving. The result is a well-supported construction site with stormwater and erosion control solutions built around performance, compliance, and long-term project success.
